The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Clubs, Town of Jackson and Teton County are pleased to facilitate our community's annual Spring Clean-up Day once again on Saturday, May 13, 2006.
Jackson Hole is a national treasure and we are proud to be part of our community's clean-up efforts. Each spring Jackson Hole non-profit organizations, businesses, Wyoming Adopt-A-Highway agencies, and hundreds of volunteers hit the streets and highways throughout Jackson Hole with garbage bags in hand to clean up debris left behind as the winter snow melts. Trucks, provided by Teton County, the Town of Jackson, and other volunteer groups, collect bags of roadside trash left by clean-up volunteers. We will meet for clean-up assignments and a complimentary continental breakfast at 9 am at the Town Square. Typically, we spend one to two hours on clean-up. At noon, participants will be served a complimentary Bar-B-Q lunch on the Town Square.
We are encouraging those of you with homes and businesses along Flat Creek to participate by cleaning up your frontage area. Trash bags can be picked up any time during the week of May 8th at the Chamber of Commerce Administrative Office located in the Powder Horn Mall (next to the Bank of Jackson Hole) or at the Town Square the morning of Saturday May 13th.
