Jackson Hole Wyoming Spring Clean Up

Spring Clean Up

The 41st Annual Spring Clean-Up will be held in 2009! The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Clubs, Town of Jackson and Teton County are pleased to facilitate our community's annual Spring Clean-Up Day. Jackson Hole is a national treasure and we are proud to be part of our community's clean-up efforts. Each spring Jackson Hole non-profit organizations, businesses, Wyoming Adopt-A-Highway agencies, and hundreds of volunteers hit the streets and highways throughout Jackson Hole with garbage bags in hand to clean up debris left behind as the winter snow melts. Trucks, provided by Teton County, the Town of Jackson, and other volunteer groups, collect bags of roadside trash left by clean-up volunteers. Participants gather at Town Square, Hoback Market, or Old Wilson School at 9:00am. Clean-up assignments are handed out and complimentary continental breakfasts are enjoyed before the work begins. Typically, one to two hours are spent on clean-up. At noon, participants are served a complimentary barbeque lunch on the Town Square.

For your convenience, trash bags are made available at the Chamber of Commerce Administrative Office the week prior to the Clean-Up. Spring Clean-Up is historically held the second Saturday in May.
