75 Years Riding for the Brand

The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce is proud to celebrate 75 years serving the Jackson community!

JACKSON, WY – The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce (JHCC) is announcing the commemoration and celebration of the organization’s 75th Anniversary. The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce was founded 75 years ago in 1946 by a group of local business leaders, to better promote Jackson Hole as a travel destination. As the Chamber realized success in its original mission, its scope expanded to more traditional Chamber of Commerce activities, including advocating for the local business community and residents who call Jackson Hole home.

While its roots are still firmly planted in destination management and related activities, the Chamber “Rides for the Brand” each day and champions organizational excellence while recognizing the critical balance of business and quality of life for residents.

The Chamber is thrilled to share the culmination of a 75-year history. It was created by strong leadership and developed by committed service, which laid the groundwork to now support almost 900 members. “We are excited to present the Chamber’s 75th Anniversary and we look forward to expressing gratitude to the thousands of businesses and individuals who have been a part of this important Jackson Hole history,” shares the Chamber’s current President and CEO Anna Olson.

The Chamber plans to honor this anniversary throughout the year, the launch of which will occurred at the 2021 4th of July Parade. Chamber members and the entire Jackson community can expect further announcements here about Chamber celebrations, including what might be the largest Chamber Mixer ever hosted and a movie tribute to the individuals and businesses that have led the Chamber over the years. As events return, the Chamber will focus on what we know our membership has been missing – networking and learning opportunities, face-to-face interactions, and the simple chance to gather as a community. The celebrations will also include a special dinner honoring the incredible line up of business leaders who have served as Chamber Board Chairs.

The Chamber has remained steadfast in its efforts since its founding in 1946 when a few business owners got together when they saw a need for support for Jackson’s businesses and the potential of the destination. With a vision to provide leadership by improving the quality of life in this world-class destination renowned for its vibrant community and local businesses, this is the history and mission we hope to highlight through the year’s tribute.
