Old West Days, presented each Memorial Day Weekend by the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce, is a celebration of culture and community. A highlight of the festival is the Old West Days Parade, the longest-running horse-drawn parade in the west. The parade will be held on Saturday, May 27. Check-in begins at 8:00am.
Local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies are invited to enter the parade. Entries can feature horseback riders, horse drawn wagons or carriages; vintage cars or trucks (pre 1960); or walkers, bikers, and roller skaters. The entry fee is $25. The Old West Days Parade wouldn’t be complete without a little friendly competition! The 2016 Old West Days Parade honors went to Jackson Hole Playhouse & Shootout Gang, McDonald for Mayor, and Town Square Inns.
Following the parade, spectators and participants are invited to enjoy other Old West Days festivities, including Mountain Man Rendezvous & Traders’ Row, Old Town Entertainment, the Old West Brew Fest, Stage Coach Rides, the Jackson Hole Shootout, Shootout Gang Street Dance, Jackson Hole Rodeo, Wyoming Cowboy Church, American Legion Memorial Service, and more!
