Each September, Jackson Hole transforms into a living canvas as artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts gather for one of the premier arts festivals in the American West. From September 9–20, 2026, the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival returns for its 42nd year, celebrating the creativity, culture, and artistic spirit that have helped earn Jackson Hole recognition as the nation's most vibrant small arts community.

Over the course of 12 inspiring days, the valley comes alive with more than 50 events showcasing the finest Western, wildlife, landscape, and contemporary art. Local galleries, museums, and venues welcome nationally acclaimed artists and emerging talent alike, creating opportunities to experience exceptional artwork, meet the artists behind the masterpieces, and immerse themselves in Jackson Hole's thriving arts scene.

This year's Festival proudly features acclaimed painter Ben Steele as the 2026 Featured Artist. Known for his masterful contemporary Western paintings and evocative portrayals of the American West, Steele has earned national recognition for his distinctive artistic voice and technical excellence. His work is featured in notable private and corporate collections across the country, including those of prominent business leaders, entertainers, professional athletes, and major institutions. Festival attendees will have the opportunity to experience Steele's work throughout the celebration and learn more about the artist whose vision helps define this year's Festival.
