"The Mountain Modern Motel was formally the Painted Buffalo Inn. Every room has been completely gutted, remodeled, and renovated. We added a small café and a gathering place to warm up by the fire. We have an adventure theme here. Everybody is aspiring to be an adventurer. We want to foster that inspiration and make sure everyone gets that out of their stay. Our 'wise guides,' as we affectionately call our staff tell their stories about what they love to do here in JH. They'll tell you our SECOND favorite fishing spot, our SECOND favorite hiking location and our SECOND favorite photography spot because we like to hold keep those first favorites a little closer to our chest. If you visit the Mountain Modern Motel a second time, we'll share a little bit more. We live here. We work here. And, most importantly, we play here and we love sharing that with everyone who visits the Jackson Hole valley. In the winter skiing is my passion. I won’t tell you my second favorite ski run, I’ll tell you my FIRST - Pepi's Ridge. I love it. The fall line is amazing. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is amazing. I've lived in Jackson Hole for ten years and am still exploring and finding new favorites. I've had my best day ever probably 100 times since I've been here.” — Spencer Long, Mountain Modern Motel Sales Manager
