Taste of the Tetons Features the Flavors of Jackson Hole

The Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival presented by the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce features dozens of events throughout the festival. We highlight Taste of the Tetons, an alfresco celebration of food, wine, music, and art.

Fall is the perfect season in Jackson Hole with cool mornings, warm afternoons, and vibrant colors emerging on the landscape. It’s the perfect setting to celebrate the the flavors of Jackson Hole, including its food and wine!

Taste of the Tetons is a signature event of Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival presented by the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce. The event will be held on Sunday, September 10 from 11:00am-3:00pm on Jackson’s Town Square. Visitors and local residents are invited to gather on the boardwalks and lawns of George Washington Memorial Park to enjoy the culinary creations of local chefs, restaurants, and caterers.

Stop at one of the ticket booths which are located under the elk antler arches at each of the four corners of Town Square and at the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce Information Booth in the center of the Square. Volunteers will be selling taste tickets for $1 each.

The number of tickets you need will depend on how many of the samples you’d like to enjoy! We recommend starting with 20 tickets. From there, it’s time to start the culinary adventure! Wander around the booths to see which samples look the most tempting or stop at the first booth you find and try something unexpected. Deposit the required number of tickets in the bowls provided by the vendors and enjoy!

Samples generally take two to four tickets and range from bison burgers to freshly-baked pizza and from ice cream sandwiches to huckleberry tarts. There’s something for every palate! Wander through the park, enjoy live music, and celebrate the flavors of Jackson Hole!

Taste of the Tetons also features the Takin’ It to the Streets art fair hosted by the Jackson Hole Art Association and Sips on the Square hosted by the Jackson Hole Rotary Supper Club.

The 18th Takin’ it to the Streets Art Fair is open from 11:00am-3:00pm. Booths of 40 local artists line Center Street and Broadway filled with paintings, photography, sculptures, clothing, jewelry, cards, and more. Find souvenirs, gifts, and treats for yourself!

Sips on the Square hosted by the Rotary Supper Club has expanded in recent years. It now offers wine, beer, and spirits with a silent auction! The tent is open from 11:00am-4:00pm on Deloney Street. Enjoy libations from an array of local and national wineries, distilleries and breweries and bid on incredible silent auction packages. Proceeds for the 2017 Sips on the Square will benefit Honoring Our Veterans, therapeutic recreation programs and other community projects.
