Mark has been “chasing the light” since he was ten years old on a farm in East Texas and he says that growing up in the country gave him a love for the outdoors and an appreciation for the moment. His 33rd Annual Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival featured painting “Rise Above,” is hanging in the lobby of the historic Wort Hotel in downtown Jackson, 50 North Glenwood.
Thanks to Latham Jenkins/Jackson Hole Traveler for the photo of "Rise Avove" at the Wort.
Director of Special Events Maureen Murphy commented, “This painting is an incredible representation of Mark's work. The image is set squarely in the heart of Jackson Hole with the majestic Teton Mountain Range serving as a backdrop.”
Visitors can find more of Mark’s work across the street from the Wort Hotel at West Lives On Gallery, 75 Glenwood Street.
