The Jackson Hole Historical Society & Museum tells the stories of Jackson Hole that connect people to the history of this valley and region. We steward and share artifacts and ideas that foster curiosity and continual learning, forge connections, and inform our 21st century dialogue. Through exhibits, programs and summertime walking tours we engage students, local community, and visitors in the dynamic history of Jackson Hole. Our collection consists of more than 7,000 artifacts, 19,0000 photographs, 11,000 archival documents, nearly 4,000 books and media, and 600 oral histories.
