If you’ve ever wondered: What is the difference between a nonprofit board and a municipal board? What is the responsibility of a board? Why would I want to get on a board?

This live interactive workshop is for you! Young Professional and Board expert, Andrea Sommerville will cover the nuts and bolts of what a board of directors does and why they exist- but also the importance of young people’s presence on those boards as well as how to advocate for yourself on those boards. Cameras required and wine encouraged. This workshop will not be recorded and we’ll ask for participants to turn on their cameras for live participation.
