Green Drinks JH: CELEBRATE
This event has already finished but is here for for your information
Green Drinks JH are fun quarterly gatherings for people and the planet. The next gathering will be held Thursday, December 6th 5-7 pm at Local Restaurant & Bar at 55 N. Cache Street in Jackson.
Location: Local Restaurant & Bar
Time: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
55 N Cache Street
Contact: Katie Dahlgren
The gathering will CELEBRATE past successes and look ahead to 2019. Attendees will have the opportunity to put their name in a hat for the chance to share their sustainability success story in 60 seconds or less—“lighting round” style! Whether a business, organization, political or individual victory, our community has a lot to celebrate such as the Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling composting pilot project and local businesses installing programmable thermostats. We invite you to come share your story, get inspired and identify your next goal. The event will run from 5-7 p.m. with a brief presentation and stories starting at 5:45 p.m. After sharing stories, attendees will also be invited to document their goal and report back at the next event in the spring. Energy Conservation Works will be on hand to share information about Lower Valley Energy’s Green Power program, and Local General Manager and Sustainability Coordinator Josh Hirschmann will share details about their sustainability program and projects. Green Drinks JH events are held quarterly. The 2018/2019 events are hosted by Beyond Efficiency with support for the December event from Local, Energy Conservation Works and the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce. Thanks to their support, the first 30 attendees will get a complimentary drink ticket, happy hour will be extended until 7 p.m., and light appetizers will be provided.Visit our website
