Jackson Hole Events

Every event in Jackson Hole is a tribute to the Teton’s rich heritage and creativity, with a packed calendar of live music, exhibitions, holiday parades, rodeos, markets, and more!

Experience the living spirit of the Wild West at Old West Days in late May. Enjoy country music, stagecoach rides, the infamous Town Square Shootout, and a stunning parade featuring Jackson Hole’s real-life cowboys and girls. This event also kicks off rodeo season at the Teton County Fairgrounds, taking place Wednesdays and Saturdays through Labor Day.

Jackson Hole is famous for skiing, but before the snow bunnies, we hosted plenty of culture vultures (and still do!). Jackson Hole's first art gallery opened its doors in the 1960s, and since then, our city has been buzzing with creative energy. The Fall Arts Festival in September is a highlight of the cultural calendar, with gallery walks, exhibitions, auctions, and public programming. Or, what better way to enjoy live music than under Wyoming’s big sky? The Grand Teton Music Festival offers classical concerts during July and August. For more modern sounds, check out the King Concerts series throughout the summer months.

When winter comes, the slopes beckon, but plenty always happens at base. The Winter People’s Market, open select Saturdays from December to May, showcases local craftsmanship and delicious treats. For a classic winter pastime, enjoy ice skating on the Town Square or attend the annual Christmas Light Ceremony.

The last of the Old West is out here just waiting to be explored. Check out what’s going on during your stay!
