Rodeo

An iconic way to experience the "Old West"

The Rodeo has been part of Jackson Hole’s western heritage for over 100 years. A rodeo is an ideal way to have a where the west is still wild, experience. Watch cowboys and cowgirls compete for the grand prize as the summer sun sets over the Teton Mountain Range. Your Jackson Hole vacation is not complete without experiencing the legendary Jackson Hole Rodeo held regularly at the Teton County Fairgrounds on Wednesday and Saturday evenings from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Come dressed with a western flair and venture out on a horseback ride to get in the mood!

A true small town event, the Dubois, WY rodeo is much different than rodeos in larger cities. Every Friday night from mid-June to mid-August at the Clarence Allison Memorial Arena is a not to be missed high energy event guaranteed to leave you with a truly authentic western experience.

The Teton County Fair returns July 19-28, 2019, showcasing and celebrating Jackson Hole's western history.

Since its beginning in 1956, locals and visitors look forward to warm nights filled with nationally recognized musicians, rodeo events, pony rides, pig wrestling, a figure 8 car race, a petting zoo and more! Put on your ripped blue jeans and cowboy boots and mosey on over to the Rodeo Grounds. They're a 15 minute walk from Town Square or a 5 minute drive, near the base of town's Snow King Mountain. Of the extenstive line-up we insist you not miss these favorites, y'all:

Pig Wrestling: As fast as you can!
