Jackson Hole WinterFest
The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present the 5th Annual Jackson Hole WinterFest February 13-22, 2015. Jackson Hole is truly a winter wonderland with many opportunities for enjoying the snowy days and long nights. WinterFest is a festival that brings these opportunities together for two weeks of fun. Many community organizations join together to present a series of events that delights winter enthusiasts who love to be out in the snow as well as those who prefer to spend their time beside a crackling hearth. Friday, February 13

  • 3:30pm: Margarita Cup at Snow King

Saturday, February 14

  • 9:00am: Jackson Hole Snowmobile Races at River Bend Ranch (Saunders Ranch Company), 30 miles south of Jackson on Hwy 191 in Bondurant, Wyoming (Physical Address: 13856 South Hwy 191, Bondurant, Wyoming 82922) – Snowmobile Snocross and Oval Racing returns! Join Xtreme Mountain Racing and Hold Fast Racing as they join forces to bring quality snocross and vintage oval racing back to the valley. Racers from Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana will battle it out on the high flying snocross track. Then move over to the oval track and cheer on the vintage racers as they battle it out on a banked 1/8 mile Nascar style track on machines that are 25 years old or older – a flash back in time. With racers from 5-years-old to 75-years-old – you’re never too young to experience the thrill of racing. Notice: Due to snow conditions, this event has been relocated to this new location in Bondurant.
  • 10:00am: Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club presents the 21st Annual Moose Chase Marathon at Trail Creek Nordic Center – Visit jhskiclub.org.
  • 7:00pm: Alejandro Escovedo at Center for the Arts – Visit www.jhcenterforthearts.org. Escovedo’s solo recording career began in 1992 with Gravity, hailed in its very first review by the Austin Chronicle as “a near perfect album of stunning originality…some of the greatest music to be found anywhere and anytime.”
  • 9:00pm: Benefit Concert with Kip Attaway at The Virginian – Visit www.jhshriners.org. $10 suggested donation.

    • 8:30pm ODESZA at Pink Garter Theater – Visit www.pinkgartertheatre.com. ODESZA is a duo made up of Harrison Mills (Catacombkid) and Clayton Knight (BeachesBeaches) based out of the Pacific Northwest.

    • 2:00-4:00pm: Rifle Ice Shoot at the Range with Jackson Hole Shooting Experience – Visit jacksonholeshootingexperience.wordpress.com
    • 5:00-8:00pm: Wednesday Night Lights Snow Jam at Snow King Mountain – Presented by Snow Jam presented by Avalon7, JHSC Freeride Program and Snow King Mountain – Visit jhskiclub.org

    Friday, February 20

    • 5:30pm Mason Club’s Wine Tasting at Center for the Arts – The event will wonderful wines, fabulous silent auction items, fun, and fellowship. Proceeds will go towards a long-term project of renovation, repair and restoration of the historic Masonic Lodge building located on King Street. Admission is $25 and includes a souvenir wine glass.     • 7:00pm: Snow King Vertfest at Snow King Mountain - Vertfest is the premier backcountry ski and ride event in the country. The Friday night kick-off event will features a screening of "Pretty Faces" and a talk by producer and SheJumps founder Lynsey Dyer! Visit snowkingmountain.com/vertfest.

    Saturday, February 21

    • 8:00am-5:00pm: Snow King Vertfest at Snow King Mountain - Vertfest is the premier backcountry ski and ride event in the country featuring a full day of clinics, competition, backcountry community activities, and beer! All proceeds from the event support the Snow King Ski Patrol. Visit snowkingmountain.com/vertfest.
    • 9:00am: Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club Series at Snow King Mountain Resort
    • 9:30am: Jackson Hole Nordic Alliance Skate Ski Workshop at Stilson Lot – Visit www.jhnordic.com.
    • 8:00pm: Benefit Concert with Joni Harms at The Virginian – Visit www.jhshriners.org. $10 suggested donation.
