Jackson Hole WinterFest
The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present the 5th Annual Jackson Hole WinterFest February 13-22, 2015. Jackson Hole is truly a winter wonderland with many opportunities for enjoying the snowy days and long nights. WinterFest is a festival that brings these opportunities together for two weeks of fun. Many community organizations join together to present a series of events that delights winter enthusiasts who love to be out in the snow as well as those who prefer to spend their time beside a crackling hearth. Friday, February 13

  • 3:30pm: Margarita Cup at Snow King
  • 5:00-9:00pm: Ice Skating on the Square at Town Square
  • 6:00pm: Shriner’s Club Calcutta at The Virginian


Saturday, February 14

    • 9:00am: Jackson Hole Snowmobile Races at Robertson Ranch (Seven Miles South of Jackson on Hwy 89) – Snowmobile Snocross and Oval Racing returns to Jackson. Join Xtreme Mountain Racing and Hold Fast Racing as they join forces to bring quality snocross and vintage oval racing back to the valley. Racers from Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana will battle it out on the high flying snocross track. Then move over to the oval track and cheer on the vintage racers as they battle it out on a banked 1/8 mile Nascar style track on machines that are 25 years old or older – a flash back in time. With racers from 5-years-old to 75-years-old – you’re never too young to experience the thrill of racing.
    • 10:00am: Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club presents the 21st Annual Moose Chase Marathon at Trail Creek Nordic Center – Visit jhskiclub.org.
    • 12:00pm: Cutter Races at South Park – Visit www.jhshriners.org.
    • 3:00-9:00pm: Ice Skating on the Square at Town Square
    • 7:00pm: Alejandro Escovedo at Center for the Arts – Visit www.jhcenterforthearts.org. Escovedo’s solo recording career began in 1992 with Gravity, hailed in its very first review by the Austin Chronicle as “a near perfect album of stunning originality…some of the greatest music to be found anywhere and anytime.”

    Sunday, February 15

      • 8:30pm ODESZA at Pink Garter Theater – Visit www.pinkgartertheatre.com. ODESZA is a duo made up of Harrison Mills (Catacombkid) and Clayton Knight (BeachesBeaches) based out of the Pacific Northwest.

      • 5:00pm: Gallery Walk at Participating Galleries 

      Friday, February 20

      • 4:00-7:00pm: Teton Ice Fest Open Climbing Night at Snow King Ice
      • Park – Participants will compete under the lights in up to three events. Rentals will be available and a bonfire and free s’mores will help keep spectators warm. Email info@tetonice.com or call 307.690.1385.
      • 5:30pm Mason Club’s Wine Tasting at Center for the Arts – The event will wonderful wines, fabulous silent auction items, fun, and fellowship. Proceeds will go towards a long-term project of renovation, repair and restoration of the historic Masonic Lodge building located on King Street. Admission is $25 and includes a souvenir wine glass.       • 9:30am: Jackson Hole Nordic Alliance Skate Ski Workshop at Stilson Lot – Visit www.jhnordic.com.
      • 12:30pm: North American Ski Joring Championships at South Park – Visit www.jhshriners.org.
      • Time TBA: Snow King Vertfest at Snow King Mountain - Vertfest is the premier backcountry ski and ride event in the country.
      • 3:00-9:00pm: Ice Skating on the Square at Town Square
      • 6:00-9:00pm: Calcutta for Skijoring at Elks Club
