This Memorial Day, the Jackson Hole community—led by American Legion Post 43—gathers to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

Post 43 proudly continues its mission to honor fallen comrades, foster patriotism, and serve veterans and the local community. Memorial Day is a time to reflect, remember, and participate in meaningful traditions that unite us.

Placing American Flags on Veterans’ Graves

Join volunteers in placing American flags on veterans’ graves throughout Jackson area cemeteries. This heartfelt tribute honors those who gave all for our freedom.

Memorial Day Ceremony – Jackson Town Square

Monday, May 26 at 10:00 AM
The community is invited to a solemn Memorial Day Ceremony on the Jackson Town Square. Gather with veterans, families, and neighbors to remember those who served with honor.
Meet at the Post at 9:00 AM if you plan to participate or assist with the ceremony.

Honor Guard Services

Immediately following the Town Square ceremony, the Post 43 Honor Guard will conduct ceremonial tributes at:

  • Aspen Hill Cemetery

  • South Park Cemetery

  • Elliot Cemetery

  • Wilson Bridge

These services represent our enduring respect for those who served and sacrificed.
