A few suggestions for family-friendly activities are listed below. Please explore our website for more ideas or call to speak with one of our experienced Visitor Services agents, (307) 733-3316.

Chuckwagon Dinner: Listen to some cowboy tales about survival and adventure in the West! Singing and fiddling cowboys accompany the delicious barbeque fare.

Snake River Rafting: Experience the river that early trappers dubbed Mad River after their small wooden crafts were smashed to pieces. Modern rafts and experienced guides can handle the river with ease. Consider the thrilling Lunch Counter rapids or a leisurely scenic trip that surely includes bald eagle sightings.

Stagecoach Rides: Take the little buckaroos on a ride in a real stagecoach. Tour the leafy streets of Jackson Hole with a real cowboy at the helm of our famous red stagecoach.

Jackson Hole Shootout: Now in its 53rd year, the Shootout has been fun for all ages and is fun for all ages! Cowboys with real guns (and fake bullets) set the stage at the corner of Broadway and Cache in front of the famous Jackson Hole elk antler arches.

Jackson Hole Rodeo: The Jackson Hole Rodeo is truly a treat for locals and visitors. Fine stock and brave cowboys thrill the crowds every Wednesday and Saturday night throughout the summer.
