Jackson Hole Marathon
This year’s marathon will take place on Saturday September 24, 2022. Race begins at 7:30am from the Town Square.
The Jackson Hole Marathon races are recognized as some of the most beautiful courses in the country! Starting in town and ending in the famous Teton Village, The Jackson Hole Marathon offers three unique races at 6,000 feet, covering the best the area has to offer. If the altitude doesn’t take your breath away, the scenery certainly will!
The Jackson Hole Marathon is USATF-certified (WY17001TK) and is a Boston Marathon qualifier. This race weekend is presented by the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and the Jackson Hole Racing Company.
The Jackson Hole Marathon starts at the historic elk antler arches on Town Square and then runners spend the first few miles winding past the National Elk Refuge and through neighborhoods before joining the community pathway system around mile 4. By mile 5 you’ll be officially out of town and headed out into the more rural areas of Teton County as the course takes runners south. The racecourse then winds itself around the banks of the Snake, through the outpost of Wilson as it heads towards Teton Village for the last section.
99.6% of the course is run on paved roads and/or paved pathways, but the last .1 mi into the Finish Line is on grass.
