Rodeos
An iconic way to experience the "Old West"
The Rodeo has been part of Jackson Hole’s western heritage for over 100 years. A rodeo is an ideal way to have a where the west is still wild, experience. Watch cowboys and cowgirls compete for the grand prize as the summer sun sets over the Teton Mountain Range.
Held at the Teton County Fairgrounds rain or shine on Wednesday and Saturday evenings from Memorial Day through Labor Day, the Rodeo is a great event to come dressed up in your western flair and ready yourself for some defying stunts and impressive athletes. Many consider our local rodeo one of the mile markers for career riders to get their start!
Another small-town option just up the road is the Dubois, WY rodeo which is much different than rodeos in larger cities. Every Friday night from mid-June to mid-August at the Clarence Allison Memorial Arena is a not to be missed high energy event guaranteed to leave you with a truly authentic western experience. Better yet, go to both!
