Take a look at this month’s wellness tip – the final article in our three-part series on components of mental, physical and emotional well-being.

Over the last few months, we explored how to work toward increased connectedness and ways to implement gratitude. This month, we leave you with our final inspiration for an increased level of well-being – how to experience the benefits of awe.

Recent research has demonstrated that experiencing awe can make you more satisfied with your life, help you to think more critically, expand your sense of time and increase connection with others. Plus, experiencing awe on a regular basis could potentially have long-term health benefits. Learn more here.

In addition, watch this video, “The Impact of Awe” to learn how awe can also be the ‘fast-track’ to experiencing mindfulness in the moment.

Next, as you begin celebrating the holiday season, challenge yourself to stop, and take a moment to experience awe once a week. Explore our amazing environment (one of the most awe-inspiring landscapes in the world!), attend a concert, and appreciate art; allow yourself to reap the many instantaneous benefits of being awe-struck.
