Each Memorial Day Weekend, as spring breathes new life into the Tetons and Jackson Hole celebrates Old West Days, one event stands out as a powerful tradition in the making: the Million Dollar Music Fest.
Now in its sixth year, this free-to-the-public concert transforms Jackson’s historic Town Square into a celebration of sound, culture, and community spirit. It's where locals and visitors come together—boots in the dust, music in the air, and the elk antler arches towering above it all.
Big Sound in the Heart of Town
There’s no venue quite like Town Square. With the iconic elk arches framing the stage and Western storefronts as the backdrop, the Music Fest offers a big-stage experience in a uniquely Jackson setting. Whether you’re up front by the barricades or relaxing on the lawn with friends, this concert blends world-class talent with small-town soul.
A Star-Studded Lineup
This year’s event, taking place Sunday, May 25, features three headliner-worthy artists:
-
Midland, the GRAMMY-nominated trio with deep ties to Jackson Hole, returns with their signature honkytonk-country sound.
-
John Michael Montgomery, a multi-platinum country icon, brings his Road to Home Farewell Tour to Jackson for the first time, with hits like “I Swear” and “Sold.”
-
Tenille Townes, one of country music’s rising stars, opens the show following her sold-out tour across Canada.
After the Town Square concert, the party continues at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar with fan-favorite Ashley Wineland.
A Weekend of Western Tradition
More than just a music event, the Million Dollar Music Fest is a key part of Old West Days—a weeklong celebration of Jackson Hole’s heritage. The concert is produced by the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar in partnership with the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce, aligning with the Chamber’s mission to support local businesses, preserve cultural traditions, and strengthen community connections.
The event also includes a Kick-Off Show on Friday, May 23, featuring breakout country star John Morgan at the Cowboy Bar. Tickets start at $25, with reserved seating available.
A Celebration with Lasting Impact
Beyond the music, the Festival helps boost the local economy, draw visitors to Jackson during shoulder season, and reinforce the area's identity as a place where Western tradition and modern culture thrive side by side.
In just six years, the Million Dollar Music Fest has grown into one of Jackson Hole’s most anticipated events. It’s more than a concert—it’s a celebration of place, people, and the power of music to bring them together.
Whether you're here for the weekend or you call Jackson home, this is your invitation to be part of a truly unforgettable night—right under the elk arches, in the heart of the West.
