Jackson Hole Pro Workforce Training

You are Jackson Hole's greatest asset. Jackson Hole Pro is a free virtual training program - developed in partnership with Visit Jackson Hole and the University of Wyoming - built to equip frontline hospitality workers with the local knowledge and Western hospitality skills that make every visitor experience unforgettable.

Whether you're welcoming a first-time guest or a seasoned Jackson Hole devotee, this course gives you the tools to represent our destination with confidence, pride, and heart.

Because when our workforce thrives, Jackson Hole thrives.

What You'll Learn
Our frontline workers don't just serve visitors - they shape the story guests carry home about Jackson Hole. A knowledgeable, welcoming interaction can turn a great trip into a lifelong connection with our community. Jackson Hole Pro was built with that in mind.

Dave Hansen Float in front of Tetons

The course dives deep into what makes this place special: the region's history and geography, the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, our national parks and forests, outdoor recreation and wildlife, arts and entertainment, lodging, dining, and transportation. You'll come away with confident, practical answers to the questions visitors ask most - and the local expertise to go beyond the basics.

Beyond destination knowledge, Jackson Hole Pro covers the core standards of exceptional customer service through the lens of authentic Western Hospitality so every guest interaction feels genuine, not scripted. You'll also discover resources designed for you: local wellness programs, professional development opportunities, and tools to help you thrive both on and off the clock.

Jackson Hole Eco Tours 2

The course is fully self-paced and independent, so you can work through it on your own schedule. Each module focuses on a different facet of the Jackson Hole experience, combining written content with an engaging video lecture. Modules build on one another and must be completed in sequence, and a short quiz at the end of each one ensures the knowledge sticks. When you've finished, a final cumulative check wraps it all together.
