Altamira Artists in the QuickDraw

Two Altamira artists will showcase their talents in the 2025 Jackson Hole QuickDraw, one of the most anticipated events of the festival:

  • Robert Moore will bring his fast-paced, expressive approach to life, using bold color and texture to capture the essence of landscape in real time.

  • David Frederick Riley will mesmerize audiences with his wildlife portraiture, blending expressive mark-making with a unique process of pushing and pulling oil paint with mineral spirits. His bold and ethereal works are a highlight for collectors and art enthusiasts.

Immediately following the QuickDraw, Altamira invites you back to the gallery for Robert Moore’s Breaking Forth reception, offering the perfect chance to transition from live performance to deeper appreciation of his studio work.

A New Lens on the West

Altamira Fine Art is best known for its dynamic roster of Western Pop artists, but for the Fall Arts Festival, the gallery is excited to transform its walls with a landscape-focused exhibition series. Featuring the bold plein air energy of Jivan Lee, the quiet poetry of David Grossmann, and the seasoned mastery of Robert Moore, this trio of exhibitions highlights the diverse voices shaping the Western landscape tradition today.

By dedicating its Fall Arts lineup to landscape painting, Altamira honors the natural beauty that inspires artists and collectors alike, while celebrating the role of Jackson Hole as both muse and gathering place for the arts.
