2026 Fall Arts Festival Featured Artist: Ben Steele

Contemporary Western artist Ben Steele, represented by Altamira Fine Art, is the 2026 Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival Featured Artist. Based in Helper, Utah, Steele is known for his signature pop realism, combining Western imagery, art history, humor, and pop culture in works filled with unexpected details.
Steele created this year’s featured artwork, “26 Old West Colors,” a playful reimagining of a classic crayon box featuring custom color names, Jackson Hole references, and hidden details inspired by the West.
Visitors can meet Steele during the Fall Arts Festival Art Walk on Wednesday, September 16, from 5:00–7:00 PM at Altamira Fine Art. Steele will sign commemorative posters featuring “26 Old West Colors,” available for $45 unsigned or $55 signed by the artist.
Collectors will also have the opportunity to bid on the original “26 Old West Colors” during the Jackson Hole QuickDraw & Auction on Town Square on Saturday, September 19.
