This September, the heart of Jackson Hole will pulse with color, texture, and energy as one of the featured galleries of the 41st Annual Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival invites visitors into a world inspired by wildlife and wild places. Known for its contemporary fine art celebrating open spaces, the wild West, and the creatures that call them home, this downtown gallery blends artistry with a deep respect for the natural world.

Owned and operated by Jackson Hole–based wildlife painter Carrie Wild, the gallery’s philosophy is shaped by thousands of hours in the field—observing, studying, and falling in love with all things wild. Since opening in July 2018 across from the historic Wort Hotel, it has become a celebrated destination for collectors, locals, and visitors alike. The collection features both established and emerging artists, spanning oil and acrylic paintings, bronze sculpture, glass, mixed media, and photography. Every piece reflects a shared passion for wildlife, wild spaces, and conservation.
Creativity in Action: Live Art All Festival Long
From September 3–14, 2025, the gallery will transform into a working studio through its Artists in Residence program. Visitors can watch as paintings take shape and sculptures emerge from raw materials, gaining insight into the creative process as it unfolds. These live sessions embody the gallery’s mission: to inspire collectors and impassion others to protect wildlife and wild places for future generations through the acquisition and enjoyment of fine art. The atmosphere is electric—full of conversation, inspiration, and a shared love for the wild.

The Spirit of the Festival
For the gallery, the QuickDraw is one of the most anticipated moments of the Fall Arts Festival. Watching its five participating artists—Patricia A. Griffin, Amber Blazina, Nicole Gaitan, Caleb Meyer, and Aaron Hazel—create exceptional works within just 90 minutes is nothing short of exhilarating. From Patricia A. Griffin’s stoic wildlife portraits to Caleb Meyer’s palette knife landscapes, all five artists excel within the timeframe, executing finished pieces that rival their collection in the gallery.

Each of these painters works with an energy and expediency that is just so mesmerizing to watch. The QuickDraw is more than a showcase of skill under pressure—it’s a rare opportunity for spectators to witness the creative process from the very first brushstroke to the final detail, and to feel the electric connection between artist, subject, and audience. This high-energy event perfectly embodies the excitement, artistry, and community spirit that define the Fall Arts Festival.
Visitors are encouraged to browse the collection online or step into the downtown gallery during the festival to experience the art up close. Whether drawn by the thrill of live creation, the beauty of wildlife-inspired work, or the chance to meet talented artists, guests will find the 41st Annual Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival to be an unforgettable celebration of art and the wild spirit of the West.
