Mountain Man Rendezvous
Experience a trip back in time to the rugged era of the early 19th century American frontier during Old West Days. The heartbeat of the Rendezvous lies in its lively marketplace, where traders sell goods ranging from hand crafted knives to intricate beaded jewelry. Explorers of all ages can participate in hands-on activities like axe throwing, archery, and a special youth scavenger hunt each Saturday of the Rendezvous.
Authentic canvas tents line the Teton County Fairgrounds, each housing skilled artisans and tradesmen demonstrating traditional crafts such as leatherworking, pottery, and fur trapping. The spirit of camaraderie is palpable as the Mountain Men clad in period attire share tales of mountain adventures and survival in the wilderness. History Comes alive through interactive storytelling sessions and educational demonstrations on topics such as fur trading and fire building.
Trader's Row Marketplace
Experience the heart of the Mountain Man Rendezvous at the Trader's Row Marketplace. A traditional hub of commerce and social interaction during the 19th-century fur trade era, Trader Row's Marketplace is your chance to experience what an authentic Mountain Man Rendezvous looks like. Peruse a diverse array of goods from traditional hatchets and axes to leather goods and other mountain man crafts. Every day, 9 am - 5 pm, at the Teton County Fairgrounds all festival long.
Mountain Man Scavenger Hunt
Bring the family for the Mountain Man scavenger hunt. Held on the two Saturdays of Old West Days, the Mountain Man Scavenger Hunt is a chance for your family to immerse yourself in all things Mountain Man while engaging in a fun, family-friendly activity. Saturdays at noon, May 18 & 25.
Ultimate Towner
It's the Ultimate Towner meets Mountain Man Rendezvous in Jackson Hole! This iconic Jackson Hole experience is a 2-hour on-course Amazing-Race for both locals and visitors. Old school obstacles are combined with in-town, family-friendly checkpoints in a choose your own adventure format. Designed for individuals and teams, this is an all-ages and abilities event. Held on Sunday, May 19th.
Old West Days Chamber Mixer
Join the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce for the Old West Day's Chamber Mixer. Open to the public, come and have the opportunity to network with Jackson Hole's business community, enjoy complimentary drinks and appetizers, and have the chance to win some incredible raffle prizes!

Held at the Teton County Fairgrounds Grassy Arena, Old West Family Activities is the chance for your kids to experience Western culture and the incredible activities that go along with it! From practicing real cowboy roping skills to archery and western crafts, there is sure to be an activity for any child.
