The Best of the West Parade

A highlight of Old West Days, the Best of the West Parade brings Jackson Hole’s rich Western heritage to life in the heart of Town Square. Featuring colorful floats, local organizations, horses, and marching groups, the parade celebrates the spirit, history, and community of the American West in a lively and family-friendly atmosphere.
Hands-on History Weekend
10 AM - 5 PM // Jackson Hole History Museum, 175 E Broadway
After the Best of the West Parade, stop by the Jackson Hole History Museum to see and experience Jackson Hole’s Old West traditions. Free admission all day to explore interactive history exhibits and enjoy special family activities in the classroom including homestead-era dress-up, Lincoln Logs, sewing and embroidery, and other pioneer crafts. Throughout the day, Wagons & Tales living historians will bring the world of fur trappers and early settlers to life through demonstrations and hands-on activities, including rope making, candle dipping, log cutting, broom making, and more!
Wagons & Tales will also continue demonstrations on Sunday, May 24th from 10am - 4pm in the Jackson Hole Land Trust Green Space.
Old West Brewfest
12 PM - 4 PM // Teton County Fairgrounds Community Building
The Old West Brewfest is a lively celebration of craft beverages set in the heart of Jackson Hole during Old West Days.
